We are so excited to welcome Vince Azzopardi to the LCF team as a new online coach!
Vince joins us with over 10 years experience in the fitness industry. He also has 8 years experience of personal training a whole range of clients – from Royalty, to athletes, to disabled clients with cerebral palsy, to morbidly obese clients with severe health issues (who featured on Sky TV’s program, A Year To Save My Life).
This has led Vince to develop specialities in posture adaption, functional training, close quarter defence, disability training and obesity prevention. Not to mention empowering and motivating everyone he comes to work with.
He has also had a long standing background modelling for Armani in Milan, where he modelled for Mr Armani’s personal showrooms; opened and closed catwalks in Milan Fashion Week, as well as being the face of Armani’s prestigious line, Bagutta, which featured in the likes of Vogue and GQ. He’s also done look-books and runways for Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Versace and Antony Morato.
What you wouldn’t necessarily know about Vince is that before the successful modelling career and the love of fitness, he actually started off as a severely overweight kid at school who was bullied.
He didn’t know anything about nutrition. He’d stop off at Greg’s before school and filled up on pastry’s and would drink cherry soda throughout the day. He wasn’t a sporty kid. And he certainly didn’t feel good about himself.
However, one day he woke up determined to change himself. He decided to join a Martial Arts School – slowly working his way up to achieving a 1st degree black belt in Martial Arts, eventually winning various championships. He took the time to learn more about nutrition and what he should be doing in the gym. And he slowly started feeling better about himself and more motivated for daily life. It was actually at one of his Martial Arts competitions in which he was first scouted for modelling.
It’s this determination to change himself for the better which has in turn given him the drive to empower others to do the same.
This is the core of what makes Vince a great person to have on board at LCF.
