As my career in the fitness world continues, i’m humbled and honoured to be able to pass on any knowledge that i can to other trainers.
Client and Personal Trainer, Dave Cottrell, travelled down form Liverpool to spend some one on one time with me and take his knowledge to the next level. In the time i spent with Dave, we covered: –
- Coaching Clients
- Different Types of Training & When To Utilise them
- Social Media Business Marketing
See below Daves’ testimonial…
I recently travelled down to meet up with Dan for 1 to 1 training. I run a personal training company in the north west and the purpose of this session wasn’t just for me to be trained as a client, but to further my own education as a personal trainer. I have long considered Dan to be an extremely valuable source of current and precise information and the face to face session more than lived up to my expectations. We spent 3 hours talking about the principles of training, nutrition, business, client care and a whole host of other topics
Dan’s knowledge was vast and his delivery style makes it so that you really understand the topic by the time you move on. Traveling from near Liverpool the day was long for me, I spent just shy of 5 hours with Dan and almost double that trudging up and down the M6 but it was worth every minute of it. The only downside was that with so much to cover and to learn there was no physical way we could get it into such a small amount of time. I have since then caught up with Dan via Skype in order to mop up any remaining questions and topics which I wanted to cover, which again was a great experience
The time was managed well and the information both expansive and concise at the same time. I now view Dan as something of a mentor and will definitely be catching up with him on a regular basis whenever I feel my journey in the fitness industry needs another push. I would recommend him highly to anyone wanting to step outside of their comfort zone and take their skills to the next level.
2015 for me is about growing myself as a coach and investing my time into hosting seminars and more 1-2-1 business coaching for trainers. Stay tuned… more to come from LCF next year 😉
