BEFORE YOU STARTED YOUR LIFE CHANGING FITNESS PLAN, HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR BODY?
Before starting the plan I was in a rut basically. I was always an active person, participating in football and athletics to quite a high standard into my early 20’s. However, a bad knee injury ended this, and coupled with the excesses of my 20s led to me being out of shape. I felt lethargic all the time, was unhappy with my appearance, but mostly I was disappointed in myself for letting things get to this.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR APPEARANCE?
I was sick of being overweight. Also I was sick of having friends, work colleagues who were in better shape than me. I felt I was putting in hours of time at the gym and getting no results. I knew I needed to do something, I wasapproaching 30 and enough was enough.
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM THE PLAN BEFORE YOU STARTED?
Like most people reading this I’d seen Dan’s amazing transformation. It was remarkable. Like most areas of life I think if you are going to do something you need to seek out someone who knows what they are talking about. Dan’s transformation was proof that he knew what he was doing. I think my initial goals were realistic. I wanted to lose a bit of body fat within the 8 weeks, but more than that I wanted the tools to be able to transform my body (and mindset) longer term. I didn’t want the cover model physique but I wanted to be able to change myself for the better. I, like most, was overwhelmed by the number of routines and dietary advice that is out there. I could have selected about 40 different approaches from an hour’s research on-line. I needed someone who could just cut all of that out and give me the bottom line – an approach that works.
HOW HAS WORKING WITH LIFE CHANGING FITNESS CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
Working with Life Changing Fitness has certainly changed my life. I’m at my lowest weight for about 5 years after only 8 weeks on the plan. More than the initial fat loss, I now have the tools to be able to manage my weight. NowI have no more excuses. If my weight goes up I have no-one to blame but myself – it is very empowering.
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR RESULTS AND IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD HAVE CHANGED/DONE BETTER?
I’m very happy with my results. Prior to starting my plan I set myself a fat-loss goal to reach in week 8 but I smashed it by week 3. Now I know I can lose the weight I’ve started to think about other goals including getting my aerobic fitness up and maybe even bulking. The sky is the limit now as I know exactly what works.
DID YOU FIND THE SUPPORT FROM LIFE CHANGING FITNESS HELPED WITH YOUR SUCCESS?
The support offered by Life Changing Fitness was superb. I received regular e-mails and was able to query anything I wasn’t sure about (this included potential changes to the diet plan or gym routine which was invaluable). Having to submit my pictures on a Monday was a great incentive to stick to the plan as well.
Lastly, would you recommend Life Changing Fitness to anyone else to achieve their goals?
I would definitely recommend Life Changing Fitness to anyone looking to change their physique. However, I would definitely recommend you ask yourself how much you want to change. It can be an initial shock (I was eating more than double my usual food intake in order to lose weight) but if you have the motivation the sky is the limit.
