I felt older than my years and very out of shape. I had previously lost a fair amount of weight after I had my daughter and didn’t feel too awful in clothes but I had no body confidence and felt like things were only going to get worse if I didn’t do something about it – but didn’t know what that was so I was floundering
WHY DID YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR APPEARANCE?
It sounds really shallow but I wanted to have photos that I was proud of, and also not succumb to being middle aged before my time!
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM THE PLAN BEFORE YOU STARTED?
I expected to lose fat and become more toned, and also to learn my way around a gym
HOW HAS WORKING WITH LIFE CHANGING FITNESS CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
In so many ways I will probably miss some things off.. I am sleeping well, have better hair and nails, am able to get over colds extremely quickly, I have more energy and no spots! I have learnt how my body reacts to different foods, learnt about which supplements are useful and why, learnt about cravings and how to manage them. I am able to feed my family better and be a good example to my daughter and my teen step daughter. The most important thing is that I feel like I am in control of my body now and that I can chose if it is healthy or not, rather than making excuses and being passive about getting old and not being toned and fit and being tired all the time.
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR RESULTS AND IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD HAVE CHANGED/DONE BETTER?
I am really happy with the results, and want to continue to get fitter and healthier. I wouldn’t have changed anything. I had one fall down at around week 10 of my plan which I beat myself up about but to be quite honest, I really learnt from it so no regrets
DID YOU FIND THE SUPPORT FROM LIFE CHANGING FITNESS HELPED WITH YOUR SUCCESS?
COMPLETELY, Dan is just incredible. He’s not on your back so you know that it is you choosing to work hard and make changes without being bullied and stood over, but you know he is just an email or message away if you need anything at all and was an incredible support. This means that I know I can continue with the lifestyle because he doesn’t set you up to NEED him as such, rather to learn from him and know you have encouragement and a wealth of info if you need it. I would never have found a nutrition or exercise plan on-line or in a book that was as detailed or bespoke. The weekly check ins make you accountable for that week’s work which really helps with mindset.
Lastly, would you recommend Life Changing Fitness to anyone else to achieve their goals?
YES. Very simple, YES! and I have done.
