THE HIIT (HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING) WORKOUT PLAN
Welcome to the Life Changing Fitness HIIT workout series.
HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training. It is a format used with cardiovascular exercise which has you going all out (100% max effort) for a short period of time, followed by a longer and more relaxed period. The HIIT format can be used on a variety of cardio work; running, biking, swimming, rowing the format is simple but at Life Changing Fitness we have added a number of variations to the mix.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gym user, HIIT can bring you results that you haven’t been getting with regular workouts. These kind of workout can be applied to any exercise, modified for any fitness level, and doesn’t require any equipment (unless you want). HIIT is very intensive and as such we do not recommend trying one of these workouts more than twice a week. Your body will need time to recoup and recover from each workout.
