About Daniel Wheeler
It was April 4th 2010 and I was standing in the shower, when I realised I could no longer see my feet. I weighed 22 stone 6lbs, I was classed as ‘severely obese’, and I was unhappy, unfit and unmotivated.
Some personal circumstances had left me feeling bereft, and every day was a struggle. I was so disheartened about my body, my state of mind and my health in general, that it was starting to affect other areas of my life.
I knew I needed to make a change. Never one to shy away from a challenge, I set myself what seemed to most people to be an unrealistic goal – to be on the cover of Men’s Fitness within three years. But after some false starts which involved every diet imaginable, I found the missing ingredient for change: education.
Once I had the knowledge I needed to achieve my goals, there was no stopping me. By 2012, everything had changed. I was down to 14 stone, and on my way to losing 8 stone in body fat. It had taken hard work and discipline, but the knowledge I had gained in nutrition and training had proven the key.
In November 2012, way ahead of schedule, I was featured in Men’s Fitness Magazine UK. Incredibly, I’d achieved my goal – proving a lot of people wrong in the process. More importantly though, I was healthy, happy, motivated and full of energy. I’d turned my health and my life around completely.
My new goal is to inspire others to do the same. Now, I provide people with the nutritional and training knowledge they need to meet their personal fitness objectives, and change their lives for the better.
